Women's Ministry

Purpose: To accept and share the love and joy of Jesus Christ through the ministry of women in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church as we pray, study God's Word, and reach out through mission, service, encouragement, and fellowship.

Mission: We are women of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church committed to the ministries of prayer, study, service, and fellowship.

The CPWM of McAdoo CP Church has a mission ministry that reaches out to our local community, our nation and our world.

Our women's group makes regular donations to Urban Ministries and helps the Salvation Army with collections at Christmas. We provide food baskets for the needy, make prayer quilts, and help people who are in need in our community.

We make regular donations to the CP Children's Home in Denton, TX and we support the WNKJ Telethon. "The World Needs King Jesus".

Our CPWM provides shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We send donations to missionaries serving abroad, the hot lunch program in Cali, Columbia, South America, and the American Bible Society. We support our troops with prayer and regular shipments of goody boxes.

Our fundraiser for these programs is our annual bake sale held in November on the Friday before Thanksgiving.
